Founded in Romania in 2010 by Alexana B. who as a child was raised in a place full of imagination, by artistic parents who worked in acting and theatre directing. Her clothes were always handmade by her grandmothers, who Alexana would sit with, admiring their talent and one day hoping to be as talented as them.
The brands is a reflection of her upbringing combining French elegance, American comfort and Romanian man-craft. Each collection is a balance between tailored and cool, simple but in a fashionable way, with a touch of humor.
"The line is produced in Romania, on a limited scale in a family owned sewing atelier. Our natural fabrics are made in Europe and handcrafted with care for a high quality children clothing design. Most of our knits are hand made by passionate grannies, every piece has its story. We choose meticulously our italian yarns for a chic and authentic clothing."
Clothes for kids to enjoy their enchanted childhood!
PIUPIUCHICK was founded in Oporto in 2012 with the idea of helping kids to acheive the absolute most out of their childhood - driven by childhood principles!
Their core values being... creativity, passion and a sense of humour.
As a small team of 8 they are dedicated and work passionately towards creating stunning new collections with illustrated prints alongside a carefully selected colour pallette and fabrics that make the collections come to life!
Pierrot La Lune is back with a gorgeous SS18 collection!
The brand was established in 2013 by Danish designer Emilie Ventujlo after the realisation of a long life dream of creating timeless and sophisticated, yet playful and informal childrenswear. Although it is a danish brand Emilie has also lived and worked in India, inspiring parts of her designs with distinctive local block prints - toned down in favour of clean lines and simple patterns.
"The Pierrot la Lune look has a touch of nostalgia; a dreamy and magical aesthetic referring to old movies and faded photos from a childhood in southern Europe in the 50s and 60s. The cuts are simple and wearable, the colours are subdued, and the classic stripes and beautiful floral prints bare resemblance of faded wallpapers or quilts from grandma’s attic."
The collection runs on sustainable principals and is fully organic, with GOTS-certified cotton and knitwear manufactured in 100% soft alpaca wool (fairtrade) from the Bolivian highlands in South America.
